Jeff Grubic (JEFF, tidypaws) is an artist living in the Southwest U.S. Although his art is primarily performance based, examples of his 2 dimensional work can be seen in many motel rooms across the U.S. as part of the “Sacred Vandal” series. He curated a music series in 2010 at the Tucson Museum of Contemporary Art called “Defining Music”. The series included sound artists whose works placed more emphasis on idea and process rather than the actual performance and resulting sounds. His own work is based on similar ideas- many of his performances seem to be of a musical nature, but are actually tests of endurance and inhibition.
